The new term starts this week. The plan is to continue choir activities right throught these school holidays and I have given us all a break at the half way mark after the MMC.  There won't be choir practice on 8th or 9th of August (unless something comes up). What fun to be part of a VIP Customer evening for Christmas at the Nova Pharmacy in Belvedere Park, Seaford. Two Bays Choir was invited to sing three sets of Christmas songs and carols between 5.30 and 7.00 PM on Thursday evening, 25th November. Our dress was black with green or red tops to add a Christmas touch, and being minstrels for the evening, we sang both inside and outside the shop.

In November, 2008, women from Two Bays Choir helped to to celebrate 100 years of Womens Suffrage in Victoria. On Saturday 9th September we had a fantastic singing workshop with Mabelle Gardiol and Bruce Rigby.We learned 3 songs from Columbia, Uruguay and Altiplano and even a simple dance with percussion.Great fun was had by all and we have some new songs for our repertoire.
